Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
ok so my Fuji Finepix 2800Zoom has come to a end ... and I am left with a Fuji finepix A204 only.

BUT ......

I am looking in to getting a Canon Digital SLR in the future. Possible a D10, 300D or a 350D if the right deal is available.

So I have some questions to ask! As I seem to get some rather strange looks from photo shops ... see other post for more info .... lol

1. How many pictures would I get on a 256MB or 512MB or 1GB compact flash card ?
2. Would any of the above cameras be any good for sports photography ?
3. If I take a fast action photos will the write to memory card be fast or would that need a diffrent type of card ?
4. Do the above cameras come with a built in flash ?
5. Weight; are they the same sort of weight as say a EOS 10 35 mm camera ?
6. What sort of price can I expect for one of the above for a body only with a compact flash card and the wires, manual, etc. ?

Thanks for the help and if anyone knows of somewhere in the South of England that does REALLY cheap deals on these can they let me know please. .....

1. How many pictures would I get on a 256MB or 512MB or 1GB compact flash card ?

depends on what setting you have it on - on my 8MB camera I get 109 RAW images on a 1GB card.

2. Would any of the above cameras be any good for sports photography ?
yes they all will - but it depends on the lens you use - and what type of sports?

3. If I take a fast action photos will the write to memory card be fast or would that need a diffrent type of card ?
The spped cameras write to cards is slowish however, the camera buffer will enable some quick FPS - have a look at some reviews to see just how fast.
heres some good sites

4. Do the above cameras come with a built in flash ?
yes - 300d and 350d, again the reviews will tell you the range etc

5. Weight; are they the same sort of weight as say a EOS 10 35 mm camera ?
i would always suggest you handle them its not just weight - i dont get on with the 350D grip

6. What sort of price can I expect for one of the above for a body only with a compact flash card and the wires, manual, etc. ?

this varies considerably - have a look at some sites like jessops.com and 7dayshop.com for a retail and web price

have a look in a photomag - like Digital Photo and see prices
warehouseexpress.com
dabs.com
7dayshop.co.uk
digitalfirst.co.uk
pixmania.com

in jpg format at lowest setting it moves into 1000's
depends on what you want to do with the final image -
Print out 10x8" or stick on a website

see edit on my post above

its also about the lens not just the camera
