How to achieve this...water shoot

Has anyone ever done a water shoot like the image at the link below? If so what did you use to spray the water with? I've thought about hanging a regular lawn sprinkler upside down from a boom, but the water would spray down on an angle and I want it to be coming straight down uniformly across the top, like the picture. I've also thought about getting one of those flat hose sprinklers with holes in it, and stretching it upside down between a couple of light stands, not sure if that would work.

Any thoughts on how to setup the water for a shoot like this? Warning, link may be slightly NSFW for some.
