How to make a background in a video whiter

i am trying to video something yet the background is not coming out as white as it is in real life... any ideas of what to do or check.

I am using a nikon coolpix p7100 in addition a filming tent and 3 fluorescent lights (all daylight bulbs)

Wrong place to post your question. This is photography "film" section, as in like rolls of film such as you would put in a still camera. The type of cameras that pre-dated digital cameras.

If you were shooting film I'd say to put some more light on your background.
