Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
This swim brands photography has a certain coloring style to it that I'm trying to figure out. The tone and overall look has a subtle vintage feel, but I can't decide how it was done. Is it 35mm? Simply a white balance adjustment? Or are they using a post processing filter? It almost looks slightly cross-processed to me.

I know they were taken on an overcast day, this isn't a question about lighting, just about the final processing of the photo. I'm trying to emulate this look for a few images in my portfolio and would love to know what adjustments would make the images look like this. Thanks in advance for your help!

Before the Mod Squad deletes the images because of TOS violations, you may want to change them to links to the images.

Thanks sparky, will do

I know they were taken on an overcast day [...]
Why do you say that? You can see the sky in the photos, and it is definitely not overcast.

Honestly, they don't look like they've had much done to them...

Because I'm an idiot and wrote the text before posting the images. Thanks for setting me straight

Film maybe? Sort of has that "film look", but that doesn't mean you can't do it digitally...

Minus babes with sand on their butt, my color film comes out looking more or less like this.

hahaha, awesome thanks Josh

On the butt/bust shot, the shadows under her chin are starting to go purple. Film does that. Not saying that proves that it is film, just that it's something you would expect to see on film.

I've seen that affect created by simply flattening out the blue channel a bit.

BTW, posting them as attachments is still a TOS violation: Post LINKS to the website that contains the images.

@Josh - I've never shot film before, but that was my first impression when i saw these images.

@sparky - when you say flatten the blue channel, would that be adjusting the Constant setting of the blue channel within channel mixer?

Image #2 makes me think there might have been a polarizing filter on the lens, yet the skin tones seem accurate.

I've seen it done with the blue channel in curves.

It looks like film to me. That's why I said that it didn't look like much had been done to it - film just comes out of the camera looking like that. That's not to say that the same thing can't be done digitally, it can. Don't ask me how though. If you ask me how, I'll say "use film".

Could be digital, could be film. I know that with film, it would take much less work to get that look though...
