I want to use it for the new website I'm making. Does this work?

It looks like it might be a little soft, but it's hard for me to tell...

Not sure if I like the tripod collar being there or not. I think the lens would look naked without it (I never take mine off...), but maybe rotated so you can't see the foot?

I don't know... Just an idea.

Other than those two things (which may not be an issue at all), I like it.

The arrangement, or order of the lenses, looks good to me.

So you shot this with the iPhone?

Needs more light from the front side. The blacks are too dark.

Derrel took the words out of my keyboard.

Actually, make a selection of the two lenses and use levels to see what happens.

Thanks guys. The original pic was brighter but I didn't like how the flash reflected on the lenses. Maybe I should really take some time and use the soft box instead.

G-girl I took it with my camera and the 50mm 1.8 :p

0|||||0 thanks. I was thinking the same thing, take it with or w/out the tripod collar. I may take it w/ the foot hidden and see how it looks. I never take it off anymore but I may have to how because of my new think tank pouch I bought for it for easy slide in and out.

If you turn it so the foot is hidden, the knob will most likely be visible. I think I could live with that though.

If it's one or the other, the knob looks cooler, IMO.

I can see what Derrel is saying about the blacks. Just a bit of work....

What surface material did you use, its still white but a bit of a reflection...some sort of lexan?

Will give it a try 0||||0 (man you need an easier name to type LOL)

G'girl I used a piece of glass over the white paper :)

Josh is easy enough - you can use that, I don't mind.

Cool Josh!

So I was thinking of using this picture somewhere in "about" section of my website. Would that make sense or should I just post a picture of me instead?

I'm not photogenic person like my wife though :meh:

This is a self portrait I was working on last night for the hell of it

I like both pictures. The lenses look pretty sweet imo.

Thanks! I think that version of my pic might not be suitable for "about me" section of the website because of the PP effect. I do have a clean version of it w/out any pp done.

I was going to put the shot of the lenses also, but not that size, much smaller.

Should I just take a pic of me holding my camera instead?

You are going to post this shot on craigslist? Selling your lenses? :) Going to Nikon?
