that was lost in space the other day in the spacewalk.

So fiscally speaking, let's begin with the cost of the lost toolbag, $100K...

now, add the cost of resources to track it on satellite.

Wouldn't surprise me if they spent another $100M to go get it.
 
there is loads of junk lost in space - we are a very rubbishy race ;)
Just consider all the fuel tanks and other components that are dropped from launch back to earth - and all the bits of spaceships we leave behind.
a £100K toolbag is probably a drop in the ocean - er space
 
I just remember they lost a Hassleblad on one of the early space walks back in the 60's ... I kept hoping it would land in my yard.
 
Did they actually find the one lost in space, or the one that crashed in Alberta. :lmao:
 
Oh, you mean an actual toolbag. I thought you meant a toolbag, as in an idiot, hahah. Wow, there must have been some expensive tools in there
