I thought Osprey season was over.

Ok, I've been good and haven't posted any Osprey pictures in here for several weeks. I thought my season ended awhile ago. I helped a friend bring his boat up the CT river today for winter storage and couldn't believe I spotted an Osprey in the middle of November. I also saw 6 Bald Eagles. A few from today and a few I haven't shared here before... C&C always welcome

CC, great captures as usual. I like numbers 2 and 5 best. As for there still being ospreys around - in my experience, often, they will stay as long as there is a food supply and it doesn't get too cold. We have bald eagles here north of 49 all winter as there are parts of the river that stay open and there are lots of ducks for them to feed on.
