Thanks! There was about five of them up in this tree at any given time! Apparently they think it's ok to start drilling holes in trees above my tent at 6am... Even when I'm in vacation....

I've been meaning to get up to the lake and get a photo of the pileated woodpecker that drills this sign across the road every morning from 5 to 6am. He has dented the living shyt out of it.

Great capture. Its hard to capture animals looking directly at the camera.
