Do you tell them you're not really a pro, you just look like one cuz you got teh L and chicks dig teh L?

Heh, I was asked by a couple walking by, while climibing a fence to get a pic of a water tower, what I was doing, if this was a story for the paper, or a magazine...

My lens wasn't white either. My camera wasn't big either (rebel xsi). I thinked they asked because of the length I was going to to get a photo.

It's not the color of your lens....

No--you instead hand them your business card, which will lead them to your web site, which will have loads of photos covered in big, herkin' watermarks! and which will include the following categories: People, Weddings, Shapes and Colors, Products. Which will immediately indicate that you are a jack of all trades, master of none newbie, albeit one with business cards, a web site, a cool and herkin' watermark, and no area of specialization.

I pull my little tiny green Lumix out of my pocket and tell them it takes better pictures than this thing...

No... I start wondering who's bag I accidently picked up...

I tell people when I'm out that I spend a lot of money to make people think I know what I"m doing. Not a single person has questioned this. I must look like I have no idea what I'm doing despite my clever ruse.
