If Someone Sees You With a White Lens and Calls You A Professional Photographer...

Oh.. I hope ^^^^^^ works on plastic 18-55mm

Ill get red too for the ring.. ****.. maybe just keep it black with a green ring.. what do you think? But most people dont know what green ring means.. nevermind.

If one can afford the L lenses, one has to know what one is doing. ;)

AH! My white lens is hidden in a green sock so it never happens now ;)

Typically though when confronted by me and a camera the white lens gets less attention than my speedlite with a softbox on it - most commonly I get a "What the heck is that for?" from both the public and other photographers :)

Can't wait to see what people make of my better beamer ;

I bought a big shiny white lens only after around 6months of photography - and here about 2or so years later I still have no idea what I'm doing :lmao:

Mo,mo,mo,mo....no,no,no,no! "Once you go black, you never go back!"

Nikon = black....

C'mon dude, get with the 2010's man!

Do you tell them you're not really a pro, you just
look like one cuz you got teh L and chicks dig teh L? :mrgreen:

Actually, when I see someone with a white lens...I think they must be a doctor or lawyer or plastic surgeon on the side because who can afford those besides high paid peeps...and those with an amazingly high credit limit?
Makes me cry a little...
:(

i get the "oh hes got one of those super expensive fancy camera" i just usually smile politly and in my head im going " no, i got the beginers version of the big fancy cameras"

lol!

when I was taking pics of the fox with my 18-55 and getting scarily close to the fox the guy 3 feet away from me had the absolute LARGEST lens I've ever seen in my life (in person)...it was attatched to his wrist or arm so he could hold it up...and he had the GAUL to say to me "he's looking right at you, go closer if you have to"...
I said, "easy for you to say...you can probably see his insides with that thing" and for all it's worth...he could have been standing in OHIO and still see the frkn FOX!
...telling me to get closer...jeesh...smart ass. lol :lol:
