I'm not a real comfortable people person but I was trying to expand into different typed of photography and try different things. So I was able to talk a friend into getting in front of the camera. This, I believe, was last summer and unfortunately I believe the original files are on a dead hard drive. Camera was D2x, settings are long forgotten, lens was the 50mm F1.4. Only place I could find them was hosted on myspace. These are the results, please C&C.

Turns out she wasn't to comfortable in front of the camera, and didn't want to pose or anything so I just tried talking to her and saying funny things to elicit smiles from time to time.

The first two look great. I really like them and your style. Nice contrast, even though it looks like a somewhat overcast day.

Obviously, you want to mix up the poses a composition a bit.
