Imported from Canada (pic heavy - air show)

Went to an air show yesterday which featured the Canadian military demonstration squads.
The lighting was horrible. The sun was in your face most of the time, when there wasn't a ton of clouds (we were supposed to get thunderstorms).

Some people have to work for a living, lol. Nice shots. Actually, you told me last minute and I already had commitments in calendar. I was wondering how the lighting was going to work out, it was like a kid playing with a light switch yesterday. I'll check them out at lunch today. Nice set here.

Yeah, the lighting kept changing .. dark for a bit and ISO above 4,000; too bright the next; thunder clouds the next (like the one with the F18 and the dark colored clouds behind it).

The planes were close though. At times 600 on FF was too big for the sensor. LOL

You and your full frame. Lol. I do not even want to look into that d750 or d600 viewfinder. I did that six months ago and it totally bummed me out.

Great shots. I'm going to an air show on Saturday and both the snow birds as well as the f18 will be performing. I'm hoping to get some shots of them in action. Was it just the one f18 or do they have more than one flying at the same time?

They only brought one CF/18. and 9 Snowbirds + 2 spare.
