Instructions on Grind my Gears Problem

The picture below illustrates what I'm trying to do the girl needs to be taller with less thighs rather then less thighs , I do know why but thats what I'm told,

How do get rid of the smaller image at the back, I can't do it and its really grinding my gears. Steps would be most beneficial.

Use 'Refine Mask' to adjust

Elevate to new layer

Hide new layer

Clean up background

"Un-hide" new layer

Flatten image

starting from scratch.
Ctrl J (new layer)
go to new layer
Ctrl A (select all)
Ctrl T (transform)
grab marker at center of top and pull up to suit.

I'd clone out the person in the back and select the upper body of the woman to keep. Stretch the selection up to get a better proportion and save as. I kinda liked her with the long legs but here's a quick change to less leg and no other dancer.
