I have an old K mount Continental zoom and I noticed a sort of "haze" on one of the elements inside the lens. Is there any way to clean this?

I would guess that sometimes they can be cleaned, sometimes not. The problem is that the lens needs to be disassembled to do the cleaning...which might not be a do it yourself type project.

Your best bet would be to take it to a good camera shop or a good used camera shop and ask their opinion.

But, of course, if it doesn't affect IQ it doesn't need to be worried about.

That's the strange part- I can't see any haze in shots taken with this lens

Well, then don't worry about it.

Stuff that is in or on the lens will most likely have little or no affect on the image. Probably because it would be so out of focus, it just wouldn't show up. When it can cause problems, is when it catches light and causes flare (like when shooting into direct sunlight.

Yeah...as the old saying goes: "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

If you don't like the lens too much, they are fun to take apart...:)
