I haven't posted anything for critique here, but I would expect these guys to be brutally honest. I do see a lot here kind of glossing over some stuff, but it seems to only be on the people who don't want or aren't ready for EVERYTHING.

I would rather have people be brutally honest. I won't learn anything if people gloss over everything.

I've been happy with the critique I've gotten. Granted, my threads don't get as many replies as the drama filled thread but that's OK :)

I don't offer as much critique as I should because I'm a newbie. I read all the critiques, which is really helpful!

All you have to do is select one random person to call a "smart@$$" and send them a nasty PM. Do this with every thread you start and you'll be WELL on your way to 15 pages every single time!

Honestly, I think I give critique to the ones who I know will genuinely take it. I don't know why, but the majority who ask for it like mentioned don't know what they're up against when they throw something out for CC, and when they do get the jist, they flip out and become defensive and the constructive environment deminishes. I don't understand these type of personalities, how on mother earth will they improve if they don't absorb and challenge who they are...doesn't that go unmentioned?

The ones who go about their business without questioning themselves and their work will probably take offence when questioned and challenged by others. It's one thing to be confident, but it's also one thing to be naive. It's an attitude tough to break with the majority. I think this is why I'm selective with CC.

Edit: Op now that I know you have the elementary approach...I will CC your work when visible to me
