Its 100% crop but i was outside testing my 70-200 2.8 II as its been giving me some issues and soft images. But well this tells a whole different story!

Worth anything by $$?
Or worth anything as in any good? lol

Id say it's worth at least 783 words. Might be as many as a thousand to the right person.

coming from a very amateur perspective I can tell you that the picture is visually pleasing for me. The shadow in the bottom left corner is a little distracting but the green and yellow in the background work for me.

100% crop? Really? You could have gotten away with it if you hadn't said anything! I'd say it's plenty sharp.

Oh not money, just the picture itself, to look at :)

The left corner, not shadow. It's a green liner thing that goes around the mulch to divide it from grass.

As for the test, I wasn't really trying to get anything special, just pointed at random things with it wide open and at full zoom to see why I'm getting soft images. But for these, they came out well and much better than I thought so thought I'd share with you guys.....

Here's the full shot. Please no C&C needed as it was just a random point and shoot :)

Too much dead space to the right.

Ron, do not fear dead space my friend. Learn to enjoy the openness :) Dead space isn't as bad as you might think sometime.

It's about balance Mo & your framing is way off. The image of the tulip however is quite sharp for the crop.

Space/openness? I got lotsa that @ my place.

I love this picture.
I'd say yes, ha it's worth keeping:)

Just a point and shoot...... I strive for the day that I can creat that and say it is just a point and shoot.
I love the picture.

I don't regard the OOF on the right, in your 1st picture, as dead space. What distracts me more is the dark triangle, bottom-left

The picture itself is phenomenal, the sharpness of the flower makes me ponder how the flower has been viewed by so many different people, but by capturing it you have increased the people who will derive some visual pleasure from its beauty.
