Yeah, I know it's not the same as my normal work, but to me it's still good. I don't normally do studio work, but the client requested we do. This is from a look book from a clothing line called Older Brother.

EXCEPT... you clipped off his head. Ever so slightly. The arm clipping doesn't bother me, but the head clipping does..

Eh, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Honestly I'm starting to feel that loosening up a bit is benefiting my work. Having part of him touch each side of the frame also adds a nice balance in my opinion.

Eh, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Honestly I'm starting to feel that loosening up a bit is benefiting my work.

And not like it bothers me a lot. Just more of a "I wish I had the exact same shot but with no head clipping, but I don't, so f*** it" thought.. or, that's how I'd think when editing.

Something about the lighting almost makes me think it has a 70s feel to it...

Whatever it is, it's a nice shot. I'm a little bothered by the white of his shirt... detail seems so lost that it's a little distracting, but meh... minor point, really.

Are you viewing on a calibrated monitor? Mine shows tons of detail.

Hm... yes, but I jus realized I was viewing it on the calibrated extremely ****ty monitor... instead of one of my two calibrated extremely nice ones.

Still not as much detail as I'd like, but(!) much more than I was seeing before.

I like it a lot, just the way it is.

(and as far as "F$*^ the rules"...no, while it's not following the "no clipping tops of heads" rule, it is following another rule in regards to balance. There is a reason why this works.)

It's hard to see the collar. Since this is about clothing, I think you should pay particular attention to all aspects of the clothing.
