I've ofttimes seen something that I'd like to photograph only to forget what it was and where I saw it. However, that's about to change. I spent just under $30 (130 NOK) on one of the journals from PaperBlanks, style: Lindau Gospel

I believe this will help me a little. Also, it looks sweeeeet. It's an awesome book/journal. It feels nice to have something like this instead of some cheap student A5 note thingy for $2. $30 isn't very much that either, but at least it looks the part :D

PS, didn't really know where to put this thread :/

That is a pretty cool looking note book.

I have a couple little note books I use (I keep one in my camera bag, one in my vest, and one in the house), but nothing as fancy as that.

It's a lot cheaper than a night on the beer over there

yeah, perhaps I'll need to upgrade to another one if the need arises. Ideally now I'd need to keep this on me at all times. Actually the book cost me 22 dollars, my head calculations are a bit poor :P

As for beer prices, those are pretty steep in Norway also. 5 beers out would cost around 34 dollahs. Your dollar is weak to the Norwegian Krone atm, so perhaps you'll you should think 34 dollars + a little more ;)

Still, star trails will be noted, as will light trails, a field with those hay balls, a place when they store rock and gravel.. That's what I've got now. Ohh, and winter is coming (thank me later, Stark fans!), so awesome sunsets will come soon. I'm always on the hunt for the ultra compelling sunset! They are just so fun(!) to shoot! There are forests here, I'll attack those someday (I'm hoping foggy weather and all that). I want to try some small stream shots, I've seen a few around where I am. Did I mention sunsets? Ahh, what a time that awaits me! Can't wait for my (ultra cheap) shutter release to arrive, should be here any day now!
