I'm really not fond of the backgrounds in these images; its way too busy and distracting.

sadly the location wasnt up to me. they said they liked the idea of having the shoot at a business park.

gahhhhhh i wish i could re-do this shoot but thats what the dance school wanted. I guess the parents will be happy no matter what.

That's too bad, #3 would look killer with a nice background and shallow DOF. I'd suggest going for more of the same subject and building a good portfolio. If you had some good images to convince them with, they'd be totally crazy to insist on this type of setting. Looks like fun, I love frozen action.

so true. i would love to have had a shallower depth but they wanted the whole background. their theme is dance around the world... so this was their ideal seting.
