I have been told that a weed is merely a plant out of place. But if you can get the angle right, and the winter winds have not treated them to harshly; they can make for an interesting shot.

Not usually a fan of B+W nature shots (as I've said on many occasions ) but on this instance I think they work well. The interesting backgrounds and nice bokeh help too.

You're right, they're very interesting, especially in monochrome. It's almost a toss up between #1 and #3 but #1 for the win.
