Lake District UK, in summer (would you believe it)

These are some pics i took of lake derwent water in summer, i tried to include subjects in the foreground to make the image more exciting.
They were all taken at about mid morning, i was a bit dissapointed with the cloudy conditions, but i can't control the weather.

i tihink it's just a rock that someones carved a pattern into, not exactly sure, but i thaught it would make a nice photo

Nice photos. Your idea of including foreground elements to add interest was a good one. I do this myself. It also helps to create depth.
