Beautiful! Especially that first one. Just noticed, there is a lynx spider in the first picture.

Thanks.
I didn't realize there was a spider in the shot and had to look around for it. I keep hoping to catch a hummingbird and a butterfly together.
I guess that's the first time I got photobombed by a spider.

Nice job on these. That first hummingbird is especially beautiful. Are those accurate shutter speeds listed below the photos? That is very slow for shooting birds. I typically shoot hummingbirds at 1/4000 to freeze the wings.

Thank you!

I believe they are male and female Canivet's Emerald hummingbirds.

I don't want to jack up the ISO too much - I like to keep it below 800 - and work with the light I'm given. So the shutter speeds wind up varying. Sometimes I get "frozen" wings and sometimes not. I think you can get nice shots either way.

Everything about the settings is correct except for the focal length. Those shots were taken with a Tamron 300 mm f/2.8 plus a 2x tele-converter. For some reason my cameras do not recognize the addition of the tele-converter. And I was using a tripod.
