lens interchangeable?

Ok i bought a rebel xsi and my wife has a cannon S5 IS. Will the lens interchange with each other? Im thinking not since i think hers has image stablization in it?

Sorry, the S5 is a fixed lens camera. You can add apaptors to the lens, but it doesn't come off (without force).

Tirediron already answered your question but if your wife is looking for additions to her camera she can get theLens Adapter/Hood Set (LAH-DC20) and then she can use the Teleconverter Lens (TC-DC58B), the Wide Converter Lens (WC-DC58A) and the 58mm Close up Lens (500D).
