lens problem

hi, I'm new to the forum and have a problem with my minolta af 70-210 lens. I'm using it on a minolta maxxum300si. The picture looks great through the lens, but when the picture is printed it looks like I used my standard lens to take the shot. I can't find any settings to change on the camera it's self.

Hi, I'm afraid I don't really understand what you're saying here. What do you mean when you say it looks like you used your standard lens?

Hi, when I looked through the photo lens the subject looked like it was about 3 feet from me. when I got the print back from teh developer the subject looked like it was 30 feet from me.? I don't know what happened, I was using my af 70-210 zoom lens at the time the picture was taken.
