Hey, I can title it like that if I want. I'm a pure red, white and blue blend of Icelandic and American Indian! Anyway, lunacy aside..

Here's something from my berry outing last weekend. I think it's a little boring, but then I've seen some awesome flower shots on the forum, today. The unopened buds to the right add some context, I think, so I included them. Like it? Hate it? Meh? Thoughts?

49 views, one comment...hmmm...I dunno...the main blossom is quite pretty, buy I'm not sure if the remainder of the frame is up to supporting that much space...something's not quite coming together on this shot for me. I mean, I want to like it...I see the attraction of the larger,delicate bloom, and yet...I dunno...the composition overall,in total is just not quite hooking me...

Your words pretty much describe my feelings about this image, Derrel. It's just not hooking me, either. I still like the photo for the memory of shooting in the hot berry patch, but for now it's one to shelve and move on. Thanks for your critique.
