Looking for hawk nest, and found something better!

[pjaye]

I am so incredibly jealous of you right now. What a fantastic find! No chance you're in ontario are you? So I can show up in your neighbourhood and FINALLY see an owl?

Kansas is a little drive for you, but if you are ever around, let me know and I will find you an owl!

Deal!

I know where at least 4 owls are, I don't know exactly where they are, but they could be found with some time.

Well you'd be doing better than me. 18 confirmed owls on one island, I couldn't find a single one. Was hoping the owl tattoo would give me some good own karma, apparently not.

Them being dark is my editing fault, I always lean to the darker side in editing.

I wonder if the owls stole the nest. We have a channel marker tower in the lagoon that adjoins the peninsula our local state park is on, and an osprey nest gets built in the metal framework of the top of that tower every year:

This year, there is such a nest in the tower, built the same way, but......

I'm not sure I see the owls carrying that size lumber up there.
