Hey guys, it's been for ever since my last post, but I manage to find some time keep shooting. Now that I have a bit of time, I can show you some of my results.
This series was a lucky encounter in Hemlock ravine provincial park Nova-Scotia (Canada). It's a complete family of bared owls (2 adults and 1 chick). Conditions were a little challenging having really hard sun (1100h to 1300h) and back lit. The mother (I assumed mother, but I couldn't make any difference between the adults) was really aggressive toward me. I had to be really careful, she was yowling at me and snapping her bill loudly, it was pretty intimidating!!
I'll let you appreciate my work. Let me know what you think. Everything was shot hand held with a D90 and a Sigma 150-500mm with point metering.
#1 The chick flying (long jump would be more accurate!) away
