Maelle - London Belly Dancer.

9 days ago I took my portable studio to London for the first time and set up in a backstage dressing room at a belly dance festival. Conditions were challenging, the white room I asked for turned out to be too small and the only room big enough was blue and had a massive skylight with bright sunshine pouring through... but you take what you can get and run with it.

These 4 are of Maelle, a very lovely young lady who was an absolute joy. They're not totally finished yet, first drafts, as it were but I was so thrilled with them that I had to share. More photos of some of my other subjects will follow. This was one of those occasions when I ended up with some very difficult choices because my subjects were too lovely and natural models!
