I think I did make a mistake counting the chairs, but the shot is just as I saw it, outside a Ralph's Supermarket in L.A. My only adjustments are made in an older version of iPhoto, and I wouldn't know how to "shop" someone into a photo. I have a version of Pixelmator on my computer, but I get tired just looking up the learning curve. But your comment raises interesting issues about what looks real.

There appears to be a bit of a halo around him, which probably is what gives this impression. The chairs have it in some places as well. It could be from boosting contrast or from some lens defect.
