thanks everybody, i'm glad you are enjoying these. this is one of my favorite places to photo, i try to get there every year, 2 years ago the meadow was completely covered with yellow flowers, this time there weren't nearly as many flowers, so i thought i would try the b&w... thx again for the comments!

thanks canoncan! the clouds are always like this up there in the summer. the mornings are clear sky, and the clouds slowly build and roll in until we get a nice thunderstorm each evening... it usually rains for an hour around 5 pm, you can almost set your watch to it...

Great series, a lot of great shots here. I think number two and five are my favorites. I like the reflection in the second and the angle of the hill in the fifth.
