Meow Meow was tired after Christmas....and hooves for cc lol!

Hey yal! I know its def the wrong time of the year to post photos for CC but I'll give it a hoot and see if some of the people I LOVE to get CC from will CC me up!!!

The first 2 were taken Christmas Day my kitten Meow Meow was tired from all the excitment. Nothing really neat about the photos BUT thought yal would think she was cute hahaha!

We were running out of the house to go to my inlaws to open presents there and I gotta say My exposure triangle is NOT good AT ALL! I was looking at my exif data and even said NO WTF! I really did that! I should have opened up my aperture, raised my shutter and lowered my iso. I did not use flash in this at all. I like the semi bokeh background.

Def better as far as the exposure triangle goes. Still would rather have changed things again.

I love the contrast is it too much? I tried to put him at an intersecting thirds line. Hows it look?

Yea the first 2 are pretty much to show yal our xmas! But I do like the 3rd.

I like this one. I think the busy background alludes to the busy-ness of the day, and the resting kitty who is over it all. Sharp where it needs to be, and nice appropriate DoF. :thumbup:

She's the devil in disguise I tell ya! Evil little kitten hahaha. She def is my little girl but god she's a nut lol. I know these are pretty much snapshots but she is cute and I figured all the noobs are posting GREAT photos aka snapshots figured I might as well put a CUTE one anyway roflmao!

Yea I actually cropped it quite a bit. I have one similar to this taken with a crappy P & S but it says SO much more. My boyfriends legs are right behind the horse's and they are both relaxing but it def looks snapshotish b/c of where it was taken. I can try to work somethings with it tho. Do you think the crop is bad? or just all around bad?

Oh GARY!!! HOW I LOVE THEEE! His style is EXACTLY what I am aiming for in photography. Thank you so much for showing me! Those equus pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!! I was just like awwwwwww love love love! Thanks man! You always show me the way with equus photography.

How you can actually have a tree with a cat around... pretty amazing! My monsters would have every little shiny trinket off of a tree in minutes!

Here is that other pic. This was way before photography was anything I kinda wanted to study and get better at. This is strictly a snapshot I would say but I feel like ti does have a story to it. I would love to replicate and compose this better, give it proper exposure and a nice fence line for the guy to be looking out into pasture on!

We bought this tree at the end of last yr for 1/2 off! Let me tell ya this thing was tied to the walls! The damn cats literally made themselves SHELVES in the branches. I also have a white cat who I rescued and is like 12-13lbs and he flattened himself out a spot in the back of the tree. Meow Meow took a spot dead front but after so many times of fixing it she gave up! If it wasn't for being tied I thought she'd be on the ground too!
