Its not edited much just converted to black and white, then darkened.

The way the white cement is on top of the black cement, and is barely "mixed together" symbolizes the racial condition in america of the late 60's. Just my perspective though.

Sorry man, it's hard to critique abstracts. Personally, I don't feel either one is that compelling. The first one has a ton of grey and almost zero white.

I always thought the purpose of abstract art was to allow the viewer to find their own meaning in the peice. Either way, i love these shots. Great work.
