Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hey, needs some feedbacks

Edit: Some people passed comment not about the photography but about the model who was desobligeant.
In respect for her, I delete the picture.
You can lock the tread now.

Thank for all of you who make appropriate comments about the techniques.
You have really great suggestion and were helpful.

It's not your case Rifleman1776!

Photography is OK.
But, I wish you hadn't labeled it "Miss Teen".
It looks like you are doing a promotion for a teen porn star or street walker.
Teen? As a father of a girl who used to be in pageants. And, as a judge of pageants, I would call her dress and poses 'age inappropriate'.
Photography can convey messages. Yours certainly do. I just don't like the message these are sending.

seems she might hold the title of "miss teen quebec"...not sure why the title of the thread bothers you.

her wardrobe is not appropriate? jeans? sweaters? boots? seems like the teenage uniform to me.

im not getting a negative message from these. im getting "pretty teenager" maybe with a slight edge. nothing more. i guess people see things differently.

shots are nice...im a big fan of urban decay type shoots.
the closeup of the face looks like the softening went a little far. something is up with the eye to our left. maybe pull back some of the softening.

generally speaking, the lighting is very nice, and the exposures seem right.
nice shots!

Thank for the comments, you are right for the 9, i didn't post the good version. But i'm not on the good computer now, I'll post the good one later.

To rifleman, I'm sorry but you are very rude. She's a teen and she holds the title of miss teen qc. She wants photography for his portfolio and, she looks like a teen for me. She is not overposing. She do not make porn star faces. Do you see any g-string, boobs or anything sexual, no!

The photography seems okay I guess, but framed perhaps a bit too tightly on some of the shots, like 14,13,8, and several others. People need a bit of top space, and cropping into the op of the head is very distracting unless it is a very tight close-up. I;d agree with Robert that shot 10 is very unflattering.

Arkansas and Quebec are separated by, how far is it? Maybe 150 years or so?
"Good Lawdy, that young miss is wearing dungarees and near ankle-high boots. Shamelessly showing the shape of her body. Why, she ought to be wearing an ankle length dress, or at the very least a modest sweater and skirt." Keep in mind that Rifleman still shoots flintlock rifles, which were basically obsolete by the 1840's...so some of his views on teens might be a bit outdated as well.

Except for the way overdone PP, I like #9 because her look gives her a personality,... or something. I like that it's sharp, too, and well composed.

Not being rude. Being candid and speaking from experience. As said, experience is as a father and a pageant judge. Showing off butt in suggestive pose with tight jeans, prostitute type boots, too much eye makeup, etc. In my opinion, she is way overposing. Facial expressions are very suggestive. This is not a wholesome image for a teen.
I would be rude to not be honest. I would be embarrassed to have a teen daughter with that image.
Sorry we can't agree.

I don't think there is anything age inappropriate here. It's actually pretty conservative for a modern teenage girl IMO. I have a sister who is 17, I live close to two high schools and at lunch time I work out at a health club that is next to a catholic high school. Believe me, most girls are wearing clothes that are just as tight and more revealing.
Is it right, is it OK? I don't know.
Would I want my daughter dressing like that...maybe not.

I think the photography here is sound...but she doesn't look fully comfortable in front of the lens...which is often to be expected from a young and/or inexperienced model.

Embarrassed ! God, I would be embarrassed to have a father like you!
Too much eye makeup ? It's very discret for this type of photography.
Suggestive poses, I dont see any finger in the mouth. First pic, she's smilling, have hands in pocket, she's not showing her but. God, just stop. Critic my photography it's okay but don't critic the model. Prostitute boot, I don't think, no, rockerboots maybe.

Let's all play nice...I don't want to have to close this thread.

Prostitute boots? Sorry, but those boots are fashion. At least, they are in Montreal. Everyone and their mother has a pair of high boots with heels. And tight jeans are in as well. Poses aside, she is wearing what others wear on a day to day basis here.

We are very open here in Montreal compared to the rest of Canada and compared to the US. We all need to keep that in mind when critiquing and commenting on critiques.

Just because its one way in one city, doesn't make it the same way in the rest of the country, continent, or world.
:)

cauzimme, where was your location for the shoot?

You're right Derrel, My teachers told me the same thing. I'm always shooting with teleobjectif, I need to try wide angle.

I see nothing wrong with the images except that the poses are amateurish. I portrait photography (of any type) the ultimate responsibility lies with the photographer that trips the shutter at the critical moment. She's contorting a bit too much. Some direction would have been great. And if there was direction, you need to work on it.
In another context the poses could have worked.
My favorites are 12, 13 and 14.
The ultimate question is: IS THE CLIENT HAPPY?
