Missing Photos in LR

Hey guys I've had a similar issue before but this is a bit different. I'm currently travelling and have two hard drives with me where I store my photos. A primary and backup. I have one folder on each with all my photos but different sub folders for each country I visit. I just entered Cambodia and hence made a Cambodia folder on both hard drives but since importing Cambodia photos, LR can't locate the other sub folders on my primary hard drive i.e all my other photos but can locate them on my backup. So after creating the Cambodia folder I have screwed something up. They don't appear on the folder tab on the left hand side, only the Cambodia folder does. How do I get LR to locate these yet folders again? Do I need to import my whole primary hard drive again?
