More BMX shots..are these any better?

I like these... I think they're better than the previous 2 bmx photos I posted on here. I'm just not sure why there's a halo around him in photo 2..any ideas on how to get rid of this? Thanks!

Cool sky, but a little unnatural. The glowing around the rider should be fixed. I think that big white wall is throwing off your metering. Be sure to compensate for it on your camera.

id like to see something more close up. your so far away in the first pic you can't really tell wether he's doing a wall ride or wether he's just doing a plant off the wall.

3rd shot looks pretty good, id just crop it from the left of the yellow pole and over. bring the picture up and bigger so its him, the wall and the small lean too. let me see the action up close.

much better for me. i can see what he's doing and whats going on. i can see that he's not running a front brake which makes what he's doing allot more difficult. i can see that he bites his tounge when he does tricks, something i used to do all the time.

are you boosting the skys color too much. ive seen the halo's appear when i begin boosting colors to much.

Thanks I didn't alter the sky too much, but maybe the little bit that I did, did give the halo. I will have to go back to the original.

i like the 3rd the best too. Its hard to explain why but i do. maybe has something to do w it being in landscape and not portrait. I could see it on a wall at a skate park or something for advertisement.

I agree with the comments above and would like to add that of the original 3, the last is my favorite - reason being is that it appears to be a photograph that wasn't planned. Like you walked into an alley and saw an individual doing tricks and captured a great moment.

Along with another member, I would also like to see closer action in most of these - however that 3rd shot works from a distance for the reason I mention above.

In your second photo post I do enjoy the closer action, but it seems a bit oversaturated. Playing with the tones could make this a really great photo, I personally prefer a more retro look when it comes to this style of photography - faded colors, contrasty, well lit.

I didn't try to make anything look HDR?
And if I did, why would it matter?
That wasn't very constructive.
