More BMX shots..are these any better?

ok fine

they are all over processed over saturated and out of focus
the halo around the rider is VERY distracting from the looks of it you edited the image in something similar to the detail enhancer of photomatix


3 is the best because your rider is actually doing something but the crop sucks

well, it was constructive but it wasn't very tactful

Hey, these are definitely better than your other ones. But I do agree that you should keep the color much more natural, especially when you're shooting sports. The best one I like is number 2, because the guy is jumping which make things look interesting, the composition is okay, not too tight and the subjects fit in his environment. Sports different from fashions, just worry about getting the actions right and you'll be set, no need for much photoshopping.
