Spent the afternoon at a local track and photographed the first moto of the classes. Thought I would share a few images.
I had really good access and the track photographer was really helpful and shared information with me. He was getting closer at times that I was (actually standing on the track at times). It is so much fun to get in there close enough that you get dirt thrown on you (or mud as the case was).
1) Was seeing how close I could get to filling the frame, this was 155mm.
2) Went back to get the 24-70mm just to see how it would do, since I had good access to the action.
3) Zooming in with the 70-200mm. He was focused on the track.
4) Up close at 70mm as he turned.
