My attempt at increasing Dynamic range

I did this using luminosity masks in photoshop CS. Aside from the tops of the trees I

feel it came out decent. Any comments are greaty appreciated, feel free to edit it in any way you like.  I think its just my crappy work moitor but on my home flat screen the house stands out much more.

Can you tell the tops of the trees behind the house are messed up, I could blend it to well any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thats a really nice photo, D-50. I'm not sure on how you would fix that, but I think it looks fine.
