Not really sure I am happy with this or not. This was shot using my dslr and I have a 4x5 color slide waiting to be developed as well.

Not a bad shot, but his stare looks a bit weird to me. Maybe it's the raised eyebrows. I'd maybe like to see all that intensity directed at the camera/viewer. Also, it appears like you've lost the shadows, which I'd like to see.

First thing that hits me is he is a slight bit too forward in the frame...I am a crop fanatic. I'd drop off the top and left side of frame just a bit to balance better.

Thanks guys! The loss of information in the shadows does bother me quite a bit. Cant say I mind the crop how it is but Ill try cropping the top and left a bit and see how it looks. If I was to re-shoot this, I think I could do much better. He loved everything about all of this so Im sure he will be more than happy to try again.
