My first B&W attempt

I am new to the world of photography as i just bought my first DSLR. This is my first time shooting B&W (i did it before like 2 times but this is the only photo i like so far xD). Hope u like it .

of course i could have lol... but from inside my house this was the only thing that looked... photographic lol... i am grounded for failing an exam so yeah... i had to shoot from inside my flat (it sucks being gounded)

First, like JSER said, subject matter, non-exsistant. Other than that, the building roof is not level. I am not sure, but it looks like a flat top roof and the antenna was leaning. I would level the roof. A much better shot could be of the window at the bottom of the screen. Remember, B/W photography is the balance and contrasts of blacks and whites. This image is 45% white, 50% gray, and 5% black. It is too washed out. Was there any contrast in the sky, clouds, etc? Your sky is all gray.

The only thing you got right as far as composition is your "Rule of Thirds". The antenna and roof top are placed well, but the antenna leads my eye to the birds, that are not very sharp.
