My first shots at the beach...

This is my favorite shot from Cape Cod that I took this past weekend... Any suggestions how I could improve it? I ran it through LightRoom, but it hasn't touched photoshop yet.

Nice shot, I like the horizon being so low in the frame.

I could maybe use a bit more contrast on the low end...I'd use curves and drag down the lower part just a touch. Also, the horizon has a little bit of barrel distortion...which you may or may not want to fix.

i saw that it was ok to edit your photos so i went ahead and made some adjustments

i played with the curves as suggested by big mike..and gave it a sort of quickie lomo look

i thought it looked better with the barrel distortion
