My first two weeks of photography

Preface: I have no idea what I'm doing.

I recently pulled out the rarely used Canon 650d from under my bed, bought a Yongnuo 50mm f1.8 and a Canon 24mm 2.8 STM lens and started shoving my camera in people's faces on the street and hitting all the buttons hoping for works of art to be produced.

I feel completely out of my depth and I am looking for critique and guidance.

Tomorrow I will be going to an indoor skatepark, it will be super dark and I only have the built-on flash. Any tips?

Stop using selective color. It's invariably discovered by newbies - and it rarely looks good.

I like your pictures of other people taking pictures. It could be an interesting running theme and you'll certainly never lack for subjects these days, especially in such a popular tourist city. The very first one that's in color sort of strikes a discordant note though since all of the others are in b&w.
