She comes up to me today, and says: "Can you take a pretty picture of me?" I leave my photoforum needs aside for a couple minutes, and Take this...She was estatic about it.

And so am I. I know its a little over the top with the whole blur thing. But gotta make your clients happy right? lol

Does the camera do all this blurring through a SETTING it has?

The photo is a tad under-exposed and her eyes are too dark. Not only because her eyes are naturally dark, but ... let me think, is it maybe a white balance issue? The whites of her eyes are blue! Were you set to incandescent light but used window light?

This is a good photo, sir. I really like the closeness it has. It makes it feel very intimate, but not in the romantic way

Some might want you to boost the eye color. I like it either way, as in here it looks very real and natural, but with modification it may look powerful and intense. Its purely a choice, but I wanted to point it out. And it may not even be possible, but with a lot of shots the eyes look almost unrealistically vivid. To me it seems processed, but to others its stunning. I'm just a beginner to both photography and post-processing, so I'm just pointing out what I see through my newbie eyes.

I personally like the softness. It may be a bit much for some, but not for me necessarily. And one of the first rules of a shot is to identify your target. Since the shot was for your sis, and she loves it, don't change a thing!
