I was impressed- it was a fun movie. I'm far from being Christian and it wasn't too offensive for me. SO all you devil worshippers go see it.

The battle scene is freaking awesome. Made me want to go play D&D.

Saw it last night, was a bit disappointed I guess....too childish? Too Disney? Too something. It seemed to be made for a Sunday night ABC Disney special on t.v. or something, not necessarily meant for the big screen.

I will say that the lion animations were crazy good though (like mind-blowingly good)...and there was a poignant scene in there.

Anyone else notice there was no blood on the weapons during the whole fight scene or the whole movie? Is there a reason for this?

I think it may have been hyped up for the Christian thing...I'll give it a sideways thumb.

i read the first 4 or 5 books like 20 years ago, they progressively got less interesting. The movie seemed right on to me, i enjoyed it, it was fun. the battle scene definitely rocked, animation was great. it was a little childish, but that's the point, the book's intended audience was children. it's kind of hard to imagine children in the middle of such a gruesome battle weilding swords and such, i think disney did a pretty good job myself, i'd say see it if you have the chance.
