Hello all, Here is 2 shots from a shoot i did today. It was the first time it was not with a friend or family member. I must say i enjoyed it a lot and we had some laughs. She has already sent me a message asking when can we do it again so that's a good sign.

But as usual i am still learning as i go so and helpful feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking a look.

I like 2, 1 is a bit off for me. But the lighting is good.

I think #1 is more flattering. It's lit better and it's a fun shot. #1 the light is very harsh, her shoulders are squared up due to leaning on her forearms.

Thanks for the comments, i find it hard to light someone when they are 6 feet up in a tree but i did my best, all her idea too.

I'm starting to research weight placement and posing. The things a photographer has to know never ends.

This was the first use of my lighting kit, 2 things i learned were bring more batteries for the flash units and get a back up umbrella because one of mine is nicely bent from a topple today, but better the umbrella then the flash.
