NAture shots - C&C Please

I took these shots a couple of weekends ago at a place called The Ledges State Park in central Iowa. I have done no post processing on these. I would like your honest feedback on these, especially composition, but I am open to all feedback on all aspects. Thank you -

I have to agree. These look a bit dull to me.

Yup, flat and lifeless. In #1, you could try having more foreground by lowering your camera. Scenic shots usually needs: foreground, midground and backgroun. In #1 you have the last two, but not foreground.

Some nice photos -- you need post processing work to tone and color balance them.

I noticed that your file ICC profiles are stripped out. Flickr didn't do that so it happened before you uploaded the photos. You've got some bad software in your image handling process.

ICC Profiles? Not sure what you mean. I did absolutely no post processing (photoshop). The pics as posted were how they came off of the camera.

Did they ever get Lower Ledges cleaned up.... at least to where you can drive down through it?

Have you tried a white balance lens cap? Might bring out the colors more and look less dull.

yeah fall shots should be that bright vibrant color everyone looks for in the fall. Can be hard unless you time it right, but upping the saturation can help a bit. Also what time of day did you shoot? Mid-afternoon the first one and cloudy days the others? Golden hour is great for the leaves and if shooting during the day a polarizer can help.

480, Sorry I didn't respond before. Got distracted I guess. When we were there they were still not allowing cars to be driven down into the Ledges. They are finishing a new bridge at the very bottom, out on the way to the river. Still not done yet and that is probably why.
