Plus, an expected 70-200mm for Christmas ..... :D

I currently have most of this crammed into a Lowpro 200 and it's just not working... anyone have other suggestions on a larger backpack that will hold this - plus a little more room for some personal items? - No place nearby I can physically pick up and hold, so would have to purchase over the web - Weight is obviously an issue, but not as much as the need to carry a pretty good size inventory.. plus perhaps ... lunch & ..... a pint of Chevas for my back-country treks ? (Gotta stay warm!)

Take a look at the Lowepro Flipside 300 or 400AW series of backpacks, very handy and easy to use.

Consider the Think Tank Streetwalker series. There are 3 sizes to choose from. They have tons of room, and have completely customizable interior sections.

I have the Streetwaker Pro, and while it doesn't have a laptop compartment, my laptop (or iPad) does fit in the main compartment. Of course, I have a pretty small laptop.

Look at the DaKine Sequence. Mine fit's my body, two lenses, four flashes, two batteries and a handful of filters, flash gels, wireless flash triggers/recievers, AA's, memory cards, 14" laptop and it also has straps on the outside which allow me to carry two light stands and my tripod comfortably.
