Need a lens! :)

Hey people! I need a lens for my nikon D90. I just own the lens which comes with the camera. I am into travel, documentary and portrait photography. Nikon 17-55 on a crop frame D90 will give you approximately the same FOV as the 24-70 on FF and is a damn perfect lens for general shooting.

I looked at your blog and I am puzzled, assuming you took these pictures then I have a feeling that the last thing you need from any of us is an advise of what lens you need to buy.
Looks like we can come to you looking for advise.

Which leaves the question why did you post this question at the first place.

In any case if you want to know my choice is Nikon 24-70mm 2.8G

I too would have to recommend the 17-55 f2.8, if you plan to stick with a crop sensor camera. You can find quite a few in good used condition, and they hold their value pretty well.

17-55 f2.8 if you can swing it. 35mm f1.8 if not.

Standard fast zoom lens will be my pick as well. 17-55mm
