So I intentionally snooted this one to have a concentration of light in the clients face as an accent. However I'm a little hesitant ... what you do guys and gals think. Should I burn the hot spot accent or leave it be?

If his whole face was lit, I'd say leave it, but it isn't and it looks like the police are shining a flashlight in his face lol. I'd say get rid of the hot spot.

I think if it wasn't quite as bright it would be ok. Like said above, if the whole face was lit, it would be better as well. It's certainly not awful though. The client would most likely be happy either way IMO.

I agree with Geaux. Its just a bit too bright. I really like the idea, though!

Ok so on this one I just somewhat burned out the hotspot. I didn't do any overlay or softlight blends yet as I wanted to fix the police spotlight on his face..lol I didn't want to even it out too much b/c I want leave a slight accent on him even with the highlights. I think this one might be the middle ground...

Yes, I say middle ground for sure. His cheek is a bit dark.

Yup to much
