It looks like there may be a new 18-55mm kit lens. It looks like they added a II to make it the EF-S 18-55mm F3-5.6 II.

I thought Canon was going to launch a 40d?? Ive been eyeing a 30d in hopes they'll come down alittle more in price to convince myself I need one!!

I don't think anyone knows what canon will be releasing...

don't think anyone [outisde] had a clue that the 1DMkIII was coming out.
All you can do is speculate...not much point waiting imo. (maybe you can camp till pma start..)

I think a lot of people were hoping for a 40D...but it's only been about a year since the 30D came out...so a 40D is probably due for the fall or a year from now...or they may spring it on us...nobody knows.
